Users are responsible for providing accurate billing and account information. Although we perform our best to maintain accuracy, we are not liable for any errors in the Services.

Section 4 - Payment Policy

We are pleased to inform you; there are three different Payment options available in our Company:

• Paid - Self Pickup: You must pay online and can pick-up from our store without delivery charges.
• Paid - Delivery: After you paid online for your order, we arrange delivery to your desired location, and it may add delivery charge.
• Cash on Delivery: We can arrange to deliver your order to your doorstep, and you can pay in cash after receiving your parcel with a delivery charge to the person who delivers the parcel.

We accept the following forms of payment: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made via the Services. You further agree to promptly update account and payment information, including email address, payment method, and payment card expiration date, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed. Sales tax will be added to the price of purchases as deemed required by us. All payments shall be in LKR. You agree to pay all charges at the prices then in effect for your purchases and any applicable shipping fees, and you authorize us to charge your chosen payment provider for any such amounts upon placing your order. We reserve the right to correct any errors or mistakes in pricing, even if we have already requested or received payment. We reserve the right to refuse any order placed through the Services. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same payment method, and/or orders that use the same billing or shipping address. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers, or distributors.

Section 5 - Return Cancellation & Refunds Policy

At www.2ndhandbooks.lk, we are committed to ensuring that our customers are fully satisfied with their purchases. If for any reason you are not satisfied, we offer a hassle-free return and refund policy, subject to the terms outlined below.

a. Return Eligibility

• -Returns must be initiated within 7 calendar days from the date of delivery.
• -No Deliveries: Sundays and Mercantile Holidays.
• -Books that are badly damaged after you buy are non-returnable, except in cases of damage when you received or incorrect delivery.

b. Non-Eligible Returns

• -Products showing signs of use, damage, or tampering.
• -Items returned without the original invoice or proof of purchase.
• -Products marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable" on the product page.

c. Refund Process

• -Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email or phone regarding the status of your return.
• -If approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.
• -Shipping and delivery charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.
• -In case of Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be issued via bank transfer or store credit, as preferred.

d. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

• -If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
• -Provide clear photos of the item and packaging for verification.
• -Upon validation, we will arrange for a replacement, exchange, or full refund at no additional cost to you.

e. Exchange Policy

• -Exchanges are subject to product availability and approval by our support team.
• -Only items of equal or lesser value are eligible for exchange; any price difference must be settled prior to dispatch.

Condition of Books

We sell used books in varying conditions. Contact us via WhatsApp at 0772081308 with the book's name and code/ISBN to verify condition. Our support team can provide images or video of the book before purchase.
