''A Quiver Full of Arrows'' by Jeffrey Archer is a marvellous collection of short stories from one of the greatest storytellers of our age. The collection includes tales of love, ambition, rivalry, and unexpected twists. Two friends fall under the spell of a New York beauty with quite unexpected results. A Chinese sculptor takes an offhand remark seriously, and a British diplomat becomes the owner of a priceless work of art. An insurance claims advisor has a most surprising encounter on the train home.

The collection ends with a hauntingly written, atmospheric account of two undergraduates at Oxford in the thirties—a tale of bitter rivalry that ends in a memorable love story.

Archer's writing is stylish, witty, and constantly entertaining. If you enjoy short stories, character-driven tales, or Jeffrey Archer's novels, A Quiver Full of Arrows is a must-read. Highly recommended!
