A Room Swept White is a masterfully crafted psychological thriller from the brilliant Sophie Hannah. TV producer Fliss Benson receives an anonymous card at work containing sixteen numbers arranged in four rows of four – numbers that mean nothing to her. That same day, she is assigned to work on a documentary about miscarriages of justice involving mothers wrongly accused of murdering their babies (cot-death cases). The documentary focuses on three women who are now free. But when one of them, Helen Yardley, is found dead with an identical card of numbers in her pocket, Fliss finds herself drawn into a dark and twisted mystery. Tension builds on every page as secrets from the past come to light. Sophie Hannah is a true master of intelligent, classy, and wonderfully Gothic crime fiction. Unputdownable!
