James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge team up for ''Now You See Her,'' a high-octane thriller about a woman forced to confront the past she fled years ago. When an innocent man is framed for murder in Florida, Nina knows she can't let him pay for the real killer's crimes, even if it means risking everything she has built. Patterson's signature short chapters and breakneck pacing make this a compulsively readable thriller. The dual timeline structure—alternating between Nina's past in Key West and her present in New York—builds suspense effectively. While some twists may be predictable, the emotional core of a mother's love and a woman's fight for survival keeps the reader engaged. A solid, entertaining read for Patterson fans.
