''Secret Seven Fireworks'' is another classic and engaging adventure in Enid Blyton's beloved Secret Seven series. This time, the drama is two-fold. First, the gang is outraged to discover that Jack's pesky little sister, Susie, has formed her own rival detective gang. Then, a theft occurs, and Susie becomes the prime suspect! The Secret Seven are torn. They know Susie is annoying, but is she a thief?

Blyton's storytelling is as charming and accessible as ever. The plot is simple but suspenseful, with a great moral dilemma at its heart. The children must put aside their rivalry with Susie and investigate fairly. Is she guilty, or is someone else framing her? The ever-present threat of Susie trying to uncover their secrets adds a familiar, humorous backdrop, but this time she's also the one in trouble.

This book celebrates themes of fairness, justice, and not jumping to conclusions. It's a nostalgic read for adults and an exciting, thought-provoking adventure for kids. The Secret Seven series remains a classic for a reason, and this installment is a great example of why. Highly recommended for ages 7-10.
