''The King of Torts'' by John Grisham is a gripping legal thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The Office of the Public Defender is not known as a training ground for bright young litigators. Clay Carter has been there too long, and, like most of his colleagues, dreams of a better job in a real firm.

Grisham is at his best in this novel, combining a gripping plot with an illuminating insight into the seamier side of legal business. It's a rollercoaster ride from start to finish. If you enjoy legal thrillers, suspense, or John Grisham's novels, The King of Torts is a must-read. Highly recommended!
